Solidifying their presence in the Australian technology sector, Cognizant secured a full floor tenancy within the highly sought-after International Towers Precinct in Barangaroo. Located within the high rise of Tower Two, this floor plate was sub-divided to create a fully operational sub-tenancy whilst considering future expansion by Cognizant into this space.
An extensive strategic briefing process was conducted which included physical workshops with Cognizant employees across both Melbourne & Sydney, in addition to an ANZ wide online study. The layout & planning responded directly to the outcomes of the briefing process & to the nature of Cognizant’s workstyle. Multi purpose spaces were created whilst catering for the working & storage requirements of the users.
Conceptually, this space is an exploration & juxtaposition of organic & inorganic thinking, lifeforms & structures. This has resulted in a unique, dynamic palette & design. Soft curved forms meet hard junctions. Stainless steel sits against rich velvet textiles & natural greenery. The bold yet understated palette celebrates colour whilst exercising restraint, creating elements of surprise whilst ensuring that the environment is conducive to working.
Loose, flexible furniture & a variety of work settings facilitate both focused working & collaboration. Large multi-use spaces have been accommodated throughout. These spaces have been designed to facilitate client meetings & experiences, functions, working & socialising.
