Inspired by the refined and welcoming aesthetic of luxury hotels, the 99 Mount Street Podium Suite is a sophisticated, calm, and inviting workspace. The design echoes the building’s external linear detailing, referencing and reinventing this feature within the internal environment. The design embodies the essence of the building and explores the combination of intercepting points and materials.

The boutique office suite features a sophisticated boardroom with a muted, timeless aesthetic. The palette is balanced and juxtaposed by the vibrant and playful meeting room design. Throughout the open workspace, a custom ceiling screen creates a canopy, defining the space. The custom feature wraps up from the floor, providing visual delineation between the working and breakout spaces. Collaborative areas are designed throughout, located primarily in areas facing the large outdoor balcony, encouraging conversation whilst celebrating the North Sydney vista.

alkimi studio was present through all stages of the project, working collaboratively with construction partner Vantagespace to ensure a swift and successful delivery within the confined timeframe.

The final realised design upholds the original design intent for the premium and timeless speculative suite within the revitalised precinct.
