Catholic Schools NSW appropriately selected Sydney’s “Angel Place” for their new head office. Bringing multiple divisions under one roof, the single floor workspace provides the organisation an environment to embrace and celebrate community and inclusivity.

The client brief sought a humble workspace designed to foster learning, collaboration, and culture, while reflecting the organisation’s strong sense of faith and values.

alkimi studio was trusted to translate the values of Catholic Schools NSW into a physical space in support of their functional and spiritual requirements. The design concept incorporates CSNSW’s extensive collection of artifacts and religious icons, which are symbolic of their rich customs and significant history. A curated selection of items is carefully integrated and displayed into the refined, sculptural forms of the built environment, taking the user on a journey when guided through the space. Layered materiality creates a dynamic and sensory experience, while bold accents speak to the company’s robust branding, and bring an element of vitality and delight to the space.
