Designed to support Transgrid’s growing Orange team and evolving ways of working, alkimi studio reimagined the workplace around connection, flexibility and choice. Guided by Connected Currents, the design explores the relationship between energy and human experience, creating a workplace where people, technology and the environment come together.
CONNECTED CURRENTS
Inspired by the movement and flow of energy, fluid forms, layered materials and shifting light translate Transgrid’s purpose into a tangible spatial experience.
AGILE BY DESIGN
A mix of collaborative, focused and social settings gives staff greater choice in how and where they work, supporting movement throughout the day.
SPACE FOR FOCUS
Additional meeting and quiet rooms respond to the needs of a growing workforce, creating dedicated spaces for concentration, conversation and connection.
NATURAL MATERIALITY
Warm, tactile and sustainable materials balance Transgrid’s brand identity with a more human workplace experience and connection to the environment.
DESIGN WITH PURPOSE
Careful value engineering maintained the core design vision within a tight budget. The result is a functional and engaging workplace built to support Transgrid’s regional team into the future.
