The McDonald’s Australia Headquarters in Thornleigh is a bold and vibrant workplace that puts people first. Designed to celebrate the brand’s legacy while supporting modern ways of working, the 2000sqm fitout brings staff together in a dynamic and agile environment.
CELEBRATING THE ARCH
A central concept in the design was reinterpreting the iconic “golden arches” in new and playful ways. A large feature arch filled with vintage Happy Meal toys welcomes staff into the breakout area – an homage to McDonald’s legacy delivered with a contemporary twist.
VIBRANCY
A lively palette is balanced with polished concrete and timber, creating warmth and contrast. Flexible furniture and feature lighting define collaborative zones, while lighter finishes in booths and quiet rooms create focused, calm spaces.
DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE
The fitout encourages movement, collaboration, and choice. Every detail, from the zoning to the furniture selection, was guided by the goal of creating a workplace that’s as engaging as it is efficient.
