The new business innovation space known as ‘Greenhouse Tech Hub’, is located at 180 George Street in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. The City of Sydney sought to offer a physical co-working space for climate technology innovation and aligned businesses.
CLIMATE-FOCUSED
Greenhouse redefines shared workspace design with a climate-conscious environment spanning three levels in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Expansive ceiling heights, city views, and abundant natural light create a vibrant and inspiring setting.
CONNECTED BY DESIGN
At the core of the space is a large central stair, physically and symbolically connecting open work areas, private offices, breakout zones, a communal kitchen hub, event space, and amenities. The layout encourages flexibility and fosters daily collaboration.
PURPOSE
The concept, NEXUS, represents a woven tapestry of like-minded innovators. Greenhouse connects individuals and organisations under one roof to future-proof Australia’s tech ecosystem and support local business growth.
We recognised the need to support the emerging founders and technologies that would make the biggest impact on reducing emissions.
STORYTELLING
Educational storytelling is embedded throughout the space, offering moments for Greenhouse and its tenants to contribute to a shared narrative. Art, graphics, and installations invite ongoing engagement and a sense of collective identity.
